چکیده

Mercuric ion (Hg2+), a poisonous metal that remained in water ecosystems, can severely damage the human central and peripheral nervous system kidneys. Consequently, rapid highly sensitive methods to determine trace Hg2+ are meaningful discuss. In recent years, for detecting heavy metals by complexation reactions have emerged one after another. We proposed novel approach of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) quantitative analysis samples using dithizone (DTZ) as reporter. DTZ-modified silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) produced strong SERS signal. presence Hg2+, DTZ capture composing stable structure, resulting leaving surface AgNPs, with an accompanying decrease The assay showed linear range 10–4–10–8 M, limit detection 9.83 × 10–9 M. sensor has low cost, speed, uncomplicated sample pretreatment. Furthermore, this method be successfully utilized detect rapidly samples, which sheds new light on environment.

Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering Spectroscopy

This review covers from the basic principles of Raman spectroscopy to the advanced technique of surface enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectroscopy. After briefly going through the description of Raman and introduction of the development of SERS, the article will focus on the “hotspot” of the current research work on SERS – single molecule spectroscopy. We will see later that “hotspot” is als...

Biosensing Based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy by Using Metal Nanoparticles

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a promising tool in the analytical science because it provides good selectivity and sensitivity without the labeling process required by fluorescence detection. This technique consists of locating the target analyte on nanometer range of roughed Au-nanoparticles. The presence of the metal nanoparticles provides a tremendous enhancement to the result...

Surface-Enhanced Raman and Surface-Enhanced Hyper-Raman Scattering of Thiol-Functionalized Carotene

A thiol-modified carotene, 7'-apo-7'-(4-mercaptomethylphenyl)-β-carotene, was used to obtain nonresonant surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectra of carotene at an excitation wavelength of 1064 nm, which were compared with resonant SERS spectra at an excitation wavelength of 532 nm. These spectra and surface-enhanced hyper-Raman scattering (SEHRS) spectra of the functionalized carotene ...

Molecular Diagnosis of Plasma Phenylalanine in Neonates with Phenylketonuria Disease Using Biological Sensors Based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)

In this study, silver nanoparticles were chemically synthesized and deposited on glass substrates using a reducing agent of sucrose, at 50°C. Different characterizations including atomic force microscopy (AFM), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and Raman spectroscopy were obtained to study silvery substrates. Then, the silvery substrates were used as the SERS substrates to de...
